Farmer Wants A Wife is just teasing

— Sherl, the far younger and prettier sister of Col Curmudgeon

There is movement at the station, for the word has passed around that teasers are being uploaded onto the Farmer Wants A Wife website.

This is big news for diehard fans who were left disappointed in February when the promised premiere date came and went without so much as an R.M. Williams boot print in the dust to remember it by.

An earlier Country News fact-finding mission discovered rumours of a late July premiere and these new teasers are perfectly timed to be building buzz for just that.

The first teaser on May 18 was of ‘‘Farmer Sam’’, our

Farmer Wants A Wife youngest victi- ah, ‘‘contestant’’, from Canowindra in NSW.

The two-minute teaser promised heaps of sheep and an intense love triangle stressful enough to give the 25-year-old grey hairs.

This teaser was ended by a simple “coming soon to Seven” announcement.

So far, no clear date to pencil into our cat calendars yet.

The second teaser was flung to the masses on May 26 and introduced us to Delegate sheep farmer Andrew who is looking “for a life” — just one letter away from the actual aim of the show, but we’re confident he’ll get with the program soon.

Hopes are high for this fella who was rated an 11/10 by one woman and declared a “total babe”.

We remain on tenterhooks to see when Longwood’s farmer Will makes his appearance under the hot, merciless lights of the camera crew.
