“There’s always something different”

A number of businesses in Mulwala have remained open throughout the whole COVID-19 pandemic, offering the local community a friendly face in addition to great service.

One of these such businesses, who also offers the region’s best meat produce as well as supplies from other local businesses, is Hicks Butchery.

Born and bred Mulwala local Dana McErvale, who owns Hicks Butchery and has for the past four years now, has always had a keen interest in business with her parents owning the local general store in the 1960s.

Dana is also well known to support those around her.

While Victorians have been in lockdown, Dana wants everyone to know Hicks Butchery are classified as an essential service and are open and able to serve customers from either side of the border.
