With five rounds completed we have reached the halfway mark of the current competition.

With some of the regular players starting to return to play the scribe is sure the ladder positions will change in the last half of the season in both grades.

The only two regular female players in A Grade Lucy Bassett and Win Htwe are sure to bank plenty of wins in the second half which could see many ladder positional changes.

It was pleasing to see that some of the more experienced players stand out of A Reserve matches to let the youngsters play. Well done to Pete and Tony.

An outstanding match between two of the first-year boys Jack Smith and Theo Vodusek went to five sets with Jack just getting the chocolates.

Harrison Milner also had a close game against Wil Anderson only to go down in the fourth set.

It’s great to see these boys improving each week, keep up the good work.
