McCurdy shadow assistant minister roles

Local Member for Ovens Valley Tim McCurdy was appointed two shadow assistant minister roles in parliament last week.

Mr McCurdy will now assume the Shadow Assistant Minister for Regional Health, as well as the Shadow Assistant Minister for Ambulance Services. He has also been appointed as The Nationals Whip in the Legislative Assembly.

“It is always an honour to serve in these positions, whether it is in government or opposition,” Tim McCurdy said.

“Now is the time to keep working hard to fix the crisis in our health care system and ambulance service.”

Mr McCurdy said the Liberals and Nationals have a plan to fix the healthcare system in Victoria, especially in regional and rural Victoria.

“We have a plan to slash hospital wait list times and fix the issues with ambulances in regional Victoria. We have a plan for you to ensure that we get our fair share in regional Victoria,” he said.
