North Albury 2.8.20 defeated Yarrawonga 2.2.14. Under 14s

North Albury 6.8.44 defeated by Yarrawonga 8.1.49.

A bittersweet end to the season, with a nail-biting win but missing a spot in the finals on percentage. Sam Trembath was everywhere and has had another huge season. Jobe Fraser in the ruck and up forward was a dominant presence.

Jimmy Cummins scrapped at every stoppage. Coop Clark started forward but was moved to fullback, negating their key forward, running the ball back the Pigeons way and directing traffic.

With only seconds to go and North pushing forward, Cooper Webster took a mark deep in defence and had the presence of mind to pause and hold up play, waiting for the final siren.

Coaches Tonna and Tresize thanked the group for their efforts across the season and noted how proud they were of the development.

Thank you to the boys parents who continue to support the boys in their football.

Best wishes to the senior counterparts for the upcoming finals campaign.
