A Grade

Mulwala 44 def Echuca United 43.

It was a very level game and the girls fought hard for the win. The defensive pressure all over the court was fantastic. Lara worked hard in defense and caused many turnovers with her big hands over the ball. Hollie shot well and shot the winning goal with only seconds to spare.

Shanna was strong through the midcourt and fed perfectly to the goalers. The next two games are going to be tough but the girls are ready and firing.

C Res all knew it was going to be a hard game and it definitely was. Everyone put in 100% effort across the whole court. The weather was a big challenge - slippery and sliding across the court which made it very hard to stop. Very proud of the team not giving up.

The Lions came out strong and worked hard the whole game. Jemma and Myley were outstanding, working in goals, moving well and scoring.

Bonnie and Ruby S worked well in mid court, keeping the ball moving. Once again Milla and Ruby T were dynamite in defense making their opponents earn each goal.
